Beware My Monster Child

Go ahead and watch the video. But fair warning first - don't let your kids see you doing so.

My son filmed this just last week, and a couple of days later my wife happened on the video and was curious to see how much of a monster her child had become. As I was already in on during the filming, I decided to give her the same fair warning I gave you. Yet she freaked anyway! Muahaahahaaha ..

This goes to show how far someone can take an interest with a little time and the right 'toys.' With what he's got, he's video-od parodies of news clips, music videos, skateboard stunts, camera tricks of perspective, montages, and cool stuff like the monster child app you see above. What does your child like to do with their gadgetry? What apps do they like to use? :-)

While I don't like him fixated on that little screen for too long, I think we've managed to pack his life with enough exercise and outdoor activity AND we're trying to ensure he's got enough 'social indoctrination' before the teenage years descend on him. When that happens, and no doubt it will be inflicted on us soon, I hope I'll still be able to keep pace with him.

In fact, I've got this cool idea to get a kayak, but I just need someone to help me haul it to the river ...
